RHP Jimmy Borzone, Dixie State: Borzone fired the second no-hitter in Dixie State’s NCAA era during a 5-1, 7-inning victory over Tarleton St. He struck out 8 batters and walked one.

LHP Seth Lonsway, Ohio State: Lonsway struck out a career-high 17 batters during a 6-0, 7-inning win over Indiana. The achievement is amazing when you consider there are only 21 outs in a 7-inning game. Lonsway only allowed 2 hits.

RHP Nick Sinacola, Maine: Sinacola struck out 15 batters over 7 innings during a 2-0 complete game win over Binghamton. He allowed 3 hits and 2 walks.

RHP Jack Leiter, Vanderbilt: For the third straight week, Leiter has been named one of Collegiate Baseball’s National Players of The Week. Against Louisiana St., he struck out 12 batters over 6 innings and only allowed 3 hits. A remarkable streak came to an end. He had not given up a hit in 20 2/3 innings over his last three games before a leadoff single by LSU in the fifth inning ended it. Leiter has only allowed 10 hits in 42 innings this season and has posted a 7-0 record and 0.43 ERA with 71 strikeouts.

RHP Brett Walker, Oregon: Walker struck out 13 in 6 innings against New Mexico St. with only 2 hits and no runs. What made the achievement even more remarkable was that he entered the game with just 15 strikeouts on the season in his first five starts, including a then career-high 5 in a win over Arizona. Walker struck out at least one batter in all 6 innings.

RHP Gavin Williams, East Carolina: Williams struck out a career-high 13 batters over 6 2/3 innings during a 7-0 win over Cincinnati. Over his last two starts, he has not allowed a run in 12 2/3 innings.

INF/OF Jacob Melton, Oregon St.: Melton was 11-for-18 for the week and hit 3 home runs in one game against Utah. It was the first time since 2001 that a Beaver batter has hit a trio of homers in one game.

2B Jace Jung, Texas Tech.: Jung belted 3 home runs during a 17-1 win over Kansas St. and collected 4 RBI as he went 3-for-6 with 3 runs scored.

2B Carson Johnson, Charlotte: Johnson led Charlotte to a 4-game sweep over Florida Atlantic as he was 9-for-15 at the plate and had hits in 7 straight at-bats at one point. He collected 7 RBI and scored 6 runs with 1 home run and 1 double with no strikeouts.

OF/1B Dylan Brewer, Clemson: Brewer belted 3 home runs and 1 double as he knocked in 10 runs with 4 runs scored over 4 games last week.

1B Austin Murr, N.C. State: Murr belted 3 home runs with 8 RBI as he was 10-for-27 at the plate over six games. He also hit 3 doubles, 1 triple and scored 10 runs.
