RHP Juaron Watts-Brown, Long Beach St.: Watts-Brown fired the first complete game no-hitter in school history during a 4-0 win over U.C. Riverside. Over 9 innings, he fanned 16 batters and only walked 1. His 16 strikeouts were one shy of the program record.

RHP C.J. Mayhue, East Carolina and RHP Landon Gartman, Memphis: In one of the most amazing games in college baseball history, Mayhue didn’t surrender a hit for 9 innings while Gartman also didn’t allow a hit for 8 innings before both were pulled because of pitch counts. The score was 0-0 entering the 13th inning when East Carolina pushed across 4 runs and won, 4-1. Mayhue and Gartman did not figure into the decision but were brilliant.
