OREGON ST. NO. 1 IN COLLEGIATE BASEBALL POLL
TUCSON, Ariz. — Oregon St. (41-4, 24-3 Pac-12) is ranked No. 1 for the 10th straight week in Collegiate Baseball’s NCAA Division I poll presented by Big League Chew bubble gum.
The Beavers won three straight at Oregon over the past weekend and wrapped up the Pac-12 championship. OSU has won eight in a row and has the lowest team ERA in the nation at 1.94. Opponents are only hitting .198 against the Beaversֹ’ pitching staff with 379 strikeouts and 119 walks. OSU has held opponents to only 14 stolen bases in 22 attempts over 45 games.
Poll Notes: Several teams have been red-hot, including Louisville (15 consecutive wins), Stanford (14 wins in last 15 games), Southern Mississippi (10 straight wins) and Oregon St. (8 consecutive wins).
In key series over the past weekend, Louisville swept a 3-game series at Clemson, TCU lost two of three at Oklahoma, Mississippi St. lost two of three at Georgia, Florida swept a 3-game series at Alabama, LSU swept a 3-game series at home against Auburn, Long Beach St. won two of three at Minnesota, Virginia won two of three at home against Miami (Fla.), Arkansas won two of three at home against Vanderbilt, Wake Forest won two of three at Florida St. and Coastal Carolina swept a 3-game series at Texas-Arlington.
Five teams dropped out of the top 30 this week in Auburn (lost 7 in row), Texas-Arlington (0-3 last week), Vanderbilt (1-3), Loyola Marymount (3-2) and UCLA (1-3). New to the top 30 is South Alabama (won 5 in row), Oklahoma (won 6 of last 8), Baylor (won 5 in row), McNeese St. (won 3 in row) and Michigan (won 3 straight).

National Players Of The Week
- RHP Zach Prendergast, Seton Hall: Prendergast fired a no-hitter against Villanova during a 9-inning complete game 1-0 win. He struck out 10 batters with no walks and only needed 82 pitches.
- RF Jack Larsen, U.C. San Diego: Larsen belted 5 home runs, 5 doubles and went 13-for-25 at the plate with 13 RBI and 9 runs scored. He also walked 6 times over 6 games.
- RF Will Robertson, Davidson: Robertson hit 4 home runs in two games against North Carolina and Winthrop as he delivered 6 RBI in going 5-for-9 at the plate with 5 runs scored.
- RHP Bailey Ober, College of Charleston: Ober fired a complete-game 2-hitter and tied a career-high with 13 strikeouts during a 3-1 win over Arizona. He faced the minimum over the final seven innings.
- OF Jordan Peterson, Eastern Michigan: Peterson had a monster game during a 14-3 win over Northern Illinois as he belted 3 home runs and a double as he collected a school record 9 RBI. In three games last week, he had 11 RBI and went 7-for-17 at the plate.

- RHP Noah Bremer, Washington: Bremer fired a 1-hitter against Arizona St. as he struck out 10 Sun Devils during a 4-0 shutout. The only base runners Bremer allowed were a fourth inning single by Andrew Snow and a walk in the eighth inning.
