Collegiate Baseball Div 1 Poll (6-4-19)

UCLA NO. 1 IN COLLEGIATE BASEBALL POLL

TUCSON, Ariz. — UCLA (51-9) is ranked No. 1 for the ninth straight week in the latest Collegiate Baseball NCAA Div. I baseball poll presented by Big League Chew.  

The Bruins, winners of 22 of their last 24 games, won the Los Angeles Regional with a 4-1 record.

No. 2 Vanderbilt captured the Nashville Regional with a 3-0 record and has won 12 straight.

The top five teams in the nation are unchanged along with eight of the top 10 from last week after each team won their regional. The only top 10 teams not to move on to Super Regionals were Georgia and U.C. Santa Barbara.

All 16 teams that advanced to the eight Super Regionals are ranked in the top 16 of the current poll.

The Collegiate Baseball newspaper poll is the oldest college baseball poll. Its birth took place during the 1959 college baseball season.
