Collegiate Baseball HS Poll 6-19-17


TUCSON, Ariz. — Shawnee (OK) remains No. 1 in the final Collegiate Baseball’s National High School Poll after completing its season 40-0.

The Wolves claimed the Oklahoma 5A state title and have a 52-game win streak dating back to last season.

Of the games that were wrapping up after the last poll, here are the results:

No. 8 Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN) defeated Penn (Mishawaka), 4-3 to win the Indiana 4A state title. They completed the season 29-0.

No. 9 Saline (MI) has been the runner-up five times in program history, including last season. They finally claimed the Division 1 state title by defeating Northville, 5-2. They finished 39-3.

No. 10 Deer Park (TX) is the 5A state champs after beating Reagan (San Antonio, TX). They finished 35-8-1.

No. 20 Port Neches-Groves (TX) defeated Grapevine, 4-2 to win the Texas 5A state championship. They are 22-7-1.

Moody (Corpus Christi, TX) slipped to No. 23 after getting knocked out of the tournament finals. They are 30-3-3.
