Past National High School Champions

The following is a list of Collegiate Baseball newspaper national high school baseball champions. From 1977-1983, a school at the end of the spring season was chosen as the top high school team in the nation. In 1984, Collegiate Baseball published the first National High School Baseball Poll. Since that time, CB has produced an in-season high school national poll once every two weeks through the season which has resulted in a national champion.

The most represented states among the championship teams are from California (6), New Jersey (5), and Florida (4). Two years — 1985 & 1987 — had co-winners .
