The seventh day of the 2014 College World Series saw Texas jump ahead early and roll to a 4-0 win over Vanderbilt as the Longhorns recorded their 13th shutout of the season. Game two between Virginia and Ole Miss was suspended because of lightning and heavy rains and was scheduled to be completed the next day after the contest was stopped early in the second inning.
